About Me

Firstly, welcome to my blog and thank you for checking it out! My name is Chloe and I grew up in Langley, BC Canada. I have always been intrigued and (interested) in history, politics, and global news. Under my belt I have a BA and MA in history. Where did my writing journey begin? I had a deep appreciation for writing which started in high school. Whether I was writing a paper on a particular historical period or the current political climate, my passion was always there. During my undergrad, I wrote pieces on and off for a university newspaper. I also had the privilege of having a few articles published with the Jewish Independent. While I started my masters, I became president of a political association within BC; my passion grew more from those experiences. Later on, I co-instructed a history/philosophy course where I taught students about different topics. I love sharing my knowledge and opinions with others. Before I started this blog, I pitched ideas (as you do as a freelance writer) to other outlets. When I was thinking about starting this blog I thought to myself, 'if other sites do not want certain topics or articles pitched, why not just do it yourself?'
